A History of God's Faithfulness in Philippines
American-era evangelical missions founded churches, schools, hospitals, and seminaries after 1898; Filipino-led evangelical and Pentecostal movements later expanded globally. Today, the best path forward is to deepen indigenous leadership rather than recreate permanent dependence on outside workers. The next chapter will be strongest when local churches disciple their own people and engage Muslim Maranao and other peoples of Mindanao with biblical clarity and cultural wisdom.
